Why I Set Up Soteria Planning

Jamie Shepherd
(Founder)

I get asked why I got into this industry by clients a lot. I love the question.

In my early 20’s I worked in financial services. I simply could not believe the amount of people who focussed on ‘The Now’ without securing or planning to protect their future. It truly blew my mind. It was normal because the type of conversations needed can be sensitive subjects. As a parent, a business owner and a husband I felt comfortable relating to anyone planning for their loved ones.

I wanted to build my career in a specialist field and knew this would help create trust with present and future clients.

I have now personally helped over 5000 people with Wills, Trusts, LPAs and estate planning. I am also proud to say the foundations of this company have been built on recommendations.

What does Soteria mean people often ask…

Soteria is derived from Greek mythology and refers to the goddess of safety, preservation and deliverance from harm. Often Soteria is associated with protection, peace and being saved from danger.

This is the focus our company culture is built on. Below are the wonderful advisers of Soteria Planning who help clients daily.
